Hi Ladies!
For those of you who know me, welcome back for my second round! For those of you who don’t, nice to meet you! I am so excited for my first post on my new, and second, blog. Yes, I had a blog prior to this one about 2 years ago. It was such an amazing experience and incredible learning lesson on how to run “le blog.”
What you can expect this time around…
Lots of fashion inspiration.
What that means to me: I look at other blogs for inspiration most of the time and not necessarily to copy the exact outfit. I wanted to stay in that “zone” as I write a new blog – what I look for as a reader and a follower of other wonderful lady bloggers.
What that means for you: I will wear a lot of outfits that consist of things I already own in my closet. I will always link similar styles and if the item is still on the shelves, the exact one! With my styling clients, I find that most want to wear what they have and not go out and spend a lot of money on a whole new wardrobe. I want to do the same service that I do for my clients here on the blog. We ain’t rich, yo, I totally get that!
Styling ideas and advice.
How to wear your pieces different ways, when to splurge and when to save, how to build your wardrobe basics and more. I also will feature other bloggers’ style and throw in a little “how to” copy a celebrity style. Any suggestions? Leave a comment below!
For today’s outfit I featured a look that can be worn from work to weekend. I pared this comfy striped top with a navy blazer for work this day. I wore a dark pair of jeans with it to the office. I always opt for a dark denim wash for work as it looks more tailored and professional in a corporate casual setting.
For a happy hour after work, I switched my dark jeans to this destroyed denim style to add a more laid back look to my conservative jacket and striped top pairing. Either denim style would have worked, but since I live in a beach area, the destroyed denim is my go-to pair!
