Hey Ladies!

I have been gone for a while now trying to get healthy.  I am slowly getting back on the mend.  I took these pictures 3 weeks ago and planned on posting them even earlier in September when I bought the dress, but no can do senorita.  I’m glad to finally be sharing!

My new favorite trend for fall is layered dresses; especially those that have more of a summer style as we saw on the runways for Fall 2016.  I am also loving the dark romantic floral trend, so I wanted to experiment and infuse a couple of trends in one look.

I am also loving these Dickies (what they were called in the 80s) – AKA The Bib Collar.  I hate the look of a bulky shirt underneath a sweater.  These lovelies take care of that issue and make you look like layered perfection…you know, how they look in the J Crew Catalog – hate them perfect bitches 🙂

Lastly, I am SOOOOO EXCITED that these boots fit my muscular legs!!!!!!  I had not even thought of trying them for years because I just have large calves.  Hallelujah!  If you guys are curvy or athletic, you have to try these out!!!

Outfit 1 is perfect for fall; for me this is such a cozy look for a dinner date.  It is also great for the office by switching the over the knee boot style for a more suitable work boot.  I would also add a pair of tights, especially in a work place that is more conservative…and we all know how freezing offices can get in the winter – why do ACs never work properly?!?!?

Outfit 2 has lighter layers with the crepe blouse and sandals.  For warmer weather, this would work great for night time… or brunch… or that baby shower I went to a couple of weekends ago, seen here on my Instagram!

This dress is an Old Navy staple – the style comes out pretty much year round in different colors and prints.  I love the shape of it for when I’m feeling like I need something comfortable and still presentable.  If you live in warmer climates, flats and a jean jacket would be a perfect go-to.  Also layered with a tee underneath…maybe even a striped tee would look so cute paired with a pair of sneakers!  This is also an excellent travel dress for those that have to fly around for work!

Sometimes I’m not confident in how I attempt to layer my clothing. I love the look which means I will be copying it.
